Saludos amigos from Argentina

We are enjoying the sweet life in Argentina and not only because we are being fed giant cakes, dulche de leche and lots of carbohydrates. The Argentines are a hospitable and open people, who are very impassioned (when we sing ‘Lean on me’ even the boys start crying). They drink maté (very caffeinated bitter tea) and eat meat as if it was their last meal. The time moves incredibly fast despite the long days. It feels like every day has gotten five extra hours. We are listening to jazz concerts, rock concerts, tango concerts, punk concerts and getting educated in tango and even given a concert ourselves at Plaza de Mayo.

During our home stay in Bahía Blanca we realized that we are not that different from people with other nationalities - but rather that we live through different circumstances. The last days we spent in Buenos Aires, where we visited The Danish Embassy.

Chau!
