3b has returned from Spain

After ten eventful days in Madrid we have returned home. We were greeted by our Spanish friends at the school Colegio Estudio just outside the city when we arrived in Spain. The trip started with a homestay were all of us were met with open arms. The first day we got a tour of the school and then we went in to Madrid and saw the main attractions. We visited the university city Alcalá de Henares, were we saw Miguel Cervantes' house. Another day we experienced an amazing flamenco show which we all loved. Tuesday we got to take a shot a flamenco ourselves and had flamenco dance lessons at the Spanish school. We also visited the Danish Embassy, were we were treated to an interesting presentation on Spanish history and the political situation. The day after that, we visited the art museum Reina Sofia, which was the starting point for our GCP-movie about Spanish identity.

All in all, it has been an educational trip for all of us, and we have returned to Denmark with new friends in Spain, our stomachs full of tapas and a greater understanding (and fascination) of Spanish culture.
