3f in South Korea

Our first meeting with Korean culture happened on our 13 hour flight. Kimchi, a traditional Korean dish, which is fermented kale pickled in chilisauce, got our journey of to a spicy start. Our hostel was in central Hongdae, Koreas answer to Nørrebro in Copenhagen. After a long journey, all we needed was a good night's sleep. On the second day we went on a hike in the Korean mountains in the Seoul area. Here we were met by giant stones and steep hills. We didn't make it to the top, but 450 meters was all we could manage in 25 degree heat.

The last couple of days have been wonderful her on the other side of the world, and we have all gotten used to the South Korean way of life. We have visited the old Gyeongbokgung Palace and Cheong Wa Dae, the house of the president. Tuesday we visited Ggumtle "efterskole", where we stayed one night for a homestay with our South Korean host families. Our 12 day journey has been filled with impressions and we have indeed had an experience for life.
