Virtual workshop with Ugandan partner school

On Monday the 14th of June our class 2.k held a virtual workshop-day with their partnerschool in Uganda - Kasubi Parents Secondary School. There was time to get to know each other, do exercises about democratic participation and the distribution of power in our schools and talk about gender equality.

The day was planned by a group of students from 2.k with a little guidance from Anders Schultz and was a part of a project with DUF where the Ugandan and Danish students will work together to secure the democratic participation amongst the youth and gender equality in the two societies.

It was a really exiting day filled with new impressions, inputs, and the joy of ‘meeting’ each other. Everyone is looking forward to continuing the project and hopefully meeting in real life soon.
