A total of 10 teachers from Rysensteen headed east on the 15th of March to Pune in India to visit our partner school, Fergusson College. After arriving in the very populous and warm city, the teachers were welcomed to Fergusson College by the school managment and teachers, who, inspite of a national Indian holiday, had decided to come to the school to discuss high school education in Denmark and India and prepare the coming visit to India by 2.y of Rysensteen.
Apart from meetings, the teachers also had time for a tour of Fergusson´s enormous campus and visits to the sightseeings of Pune. Among the high lights were a visit to a local temple, the Gandhi Memorial and the city´s historic fort. The teachers also got to experience Pune during the Holi-festival where everybody paints each other in different colors and celebrates in the streets of Pune.
