Collaboration with PlanBørnefonden
Rysensteen has recently started a very special collaboration with the NGO PlanBørnefonden - also known as Plan Internatnional. The collaboration includes every class from Rysensteen sponsoring a child and fundraising for them throughout their three years at Rysensteen. The children sponsored live in the slum district Kamwokya located in Kampala, Uganda. The money collected will amongst other things help support the children's education.
The fundraising is run by a group of students from both the student council and the GCP-student club. There have been a strong support of this project from the entire school and both the teachers, the school caretakers and the administration have also agreed to sponsoring children themselves.
