Visit from the UN-City
On the 31st of August, the first year students finished their FN-introduction course with a visit from the UN-City of Copenhagen. The day began with presentations from representatitves of the four UN-organisations; UNDP, UNFPA, UNHCR and UN Women.
Afterwards, the first year students worked with dilemmas relevant to the UN's work with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, and through their group work they came up with suggestions for solutions to the dilemmas. One group from each class was chosen to present their solution in front of the rest of the first year students as well as the visitors from the UN, who then entered into a dialogue with the students.
The students' curiousity and interest was high thoughout the entire day, and it was a true pleasure to once again be able to gather an entire year of students for an event.
