Buenas días from 3.b in Spain

Buenas días Rysensteen! We are enjoying ourselves here in sunny Madrid, where we are being spoiled by our wonderful host families with cakes, tortillas de patatas, tapas and other spanish delicacies. We have seen beautiful buildings such as Palacio Réal, the cathedral in Toledo and El Templo Debby. We have been in spanish school where we have learned flamenco and found out that the language barrier wasn’t so hard to overcome. Same night as we had the flamenco class, we went to see an amazing flamenco show. On sunday we went to the local market, El Rastro, where they had everything from local handmade jewellery to the same old touristy stuff you can buy everywhere.

Now we have a little under two days left of our wonderful journey, before we will go home to cold Denmark. Tonight we are going to the famous Prado Museum and tomorrow the Reina Sofia Museum and a farewell dinner with our amazing Spanish friends. It is going to be hard to say goodbye, but we are sure we will see each other again.

Hasta luego!
